"Too rarely, my God-designed longing for beauty is awakened. Too often, I more clearly see yet-to-be-redeemed ugliness all around me and in me. Egret Gospel has opened the eyes of my heart to glimpse a preview of the beauty God will soon fully restore. Jennifer Johnson's rhythmic words and Theo Parker's stunning photographs of unspoiled beauty will do the same for you."

Egret Gospel... soon to be released

Dear Friends,

We are thrilled to share with you the fruit of our friendship and adventures during the late winter/early spring of 2011 in capturing one of God's most angelic creatures, the elusive egret. Inspired by Job 12:7-10, Egret Gospel will transport you to the Outer Banks of North Carolina where you'll be greeted by the Great Egret, combing the marsh for minnows and fiddler crabs. Inspired by many mornings on the porch of her parents' Harker's Island cottage, Jennifer's poem describes what it's like to, "eat breakfast with angels." Theo's stunning photos capture the spiritual nature of the egret and reflect her own wonderment of all of God's creatures. Let the wings of the egret welcome you, and celebrate with us the gospel truth of God's work.

Gratefully, Theo Parker and Jennifer Johnson
