Book Presentations

Hello, everyone! We are so excited to still be in the business of spreading God's word through pictures and story. Currently, Jennifer is touring local preschools and elementary Christian schools and reading The Proper Use book with the help of poster-sized illustrations of Marley's artwork and a 5' sunflower. This week, Jennifer visited Christ Covenant School and St. James United Methodist Preschool. The kids were sooo sweet and responsive to the story. Jennifer also has a version of the presentation just for women's groups as well. (There are universal themes in the book about beauty, unity, busyness, and purpose that are absolutely applicable to adults. In fact, the presentation is an unexpected "visual" way to present such material and discuss the Bible verses included in the book.) Author Gathering

Hello, all! We both hope you had the merriest of Christmases! To date, our little book has gotten 600 copies into the hands of others, can you believe it? Our next event is scheduled for next Friday, January 23. Check out the local flyer for details. I'm also helping to promote Mark Lykins' book, Chinese Scientists in my '54 Chevy. (I am the editor/ghost writer for this work, and all proceeds go to his ministry- StepByStepWithJesus.blogspot.com.)

Book Signing and Reading December 23rd

Merry Christmas to all of our readers! We will be hosting another book signing at The Rock Christian Bookstore this Tuesday, December 23rd, from 2-4 PM. We'll be reading the book, too, so enjoy some fun with the kids!

Book update: We have sold over 500 books so far! How exciting (and humbling) is that??!! It just shows that when God is in the center, He can take the things we flawed humans attempt and turn them in to jewels beyond our wildest expectations. We love, love, love Him and all of you! The Time is Near!

Hello! Marley and I have received a proof of the book this week, and the first printing will be next week! We wanted to be the first to invite you to a reception in YOUR honor! We love our supporters! Expect a mailed version soon, but we wanted you to know here first that the books are absolutely in process and absolutely in God's hands now...but soon to be in your hands, too!

A Proper Use of This Book

Hello! We wanted to give you a glimpse into the BACK of the book this time. The two pictures below show the introduction to the parent/child devotional and the first activity. Enjoy, and let us know what you think! Special props this week go to our awesome editors: Jennifer Orr, Lisa Stroud, and Lexi Davis. Thank you, ladies! Special note: We ordered a "mock" proof through an online photo book company. It was amazing to see the artwork and text come together. Our next step: Marley submits all final edits to our online publisher this week. Then, we wait for the real proof. After that, the books will be ordered.
